The IB Middle Years Programme

Life in the 21st century places many changing demands on students making the transition through adolescence. They are at a crucial period of personal, social, physical and intellectual development, of uncertainty and of questioning. The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Middle Years Programme is designed to help them find a sense of belonging in the ever-changing and increasingly interrelated world around them and to foster a positive attitude to learning.

Le Programme de premier cycle secondaire de l’IB

La vie au XXIe siècle place de nombreuses exigences sur les élèves en pleine adolescence. Ils traversent une période charnière de leur développement personnel, social, physique et intellectuel – une période faite d’incertitude et de questionnement. Le Programme de premier cycle secondaire du Baccalauréat International (IB) est dès lors conçu pour les aider à développer un sentiment d’appartenance au monde qui les entoure – un monde en constante évolution et de plus en plus interdépendant – et les encourager à adopter une attitude positive à l’égard de l’apprentissage.
