PYP - MYP PILOT project

Common PYP/MYP planner pilot project

GPIS has been selected among authorised IB schools by the IB to participate in a continuum pilot project which involves the trial implementation of a draft common PYP/MYP planner. The project aims to provide feedback to the IB, including possible modifications based on experience from the field. 

Anticipated project outcomes include: strengthening teaching and learning across the PYP and MYP through the use of a common planner; supporting the effective transition of students from the PYP to the MYP; and increasing teacher collaboration across the programmes. 

It will be hard work !!.... but we are all very enthusiastic to participate and get a chance to deepen our understanding of the IB programmes; to share our expertise between the PYP and the MYP.

The transition between the PYP and the MYP has been a real topic of interest at GPIS and we felt that it was a chance for us to join such a project.
